What To Remember While Visiting Rome

Rome is a beautiful city, it is one of the oldest one on earth and still holds many proof of its glorious days. Enjoying a vacation in Rome is nothing less than taking a walk through the pages of history. However, while visiting Rome you must keep a few points in mind.

Never visit Rome during the summer time. You might think that summer is the perfect vacation time, but unless you are ready to be baked under the hot sun and have a torturous journey of the city as you struggle through the intolerable crowd, do not visit Rome during summer. The best time will be in the autumn. Sun is not too hot at that time and you will have a great time enjoying the fabulous locations within the city. You will also be able to enjoy the city in a much better way, with much lesser crowd. Late September is the best time to visit the city.

Explore the city at night. Rome has its own beauty that is enchanting and increases manifolds at night. After you have had your dinner, instead of heading off to your hotel take some time to check out the night time Rome. The best thing about a night time venture is that the city is perfectly crowd free and you will have all the special attractions to yourself. There are many places in Rome which look even more enigmatic at night under the artificial lights. You should not miss an opportunity to check out Baroque Trevi Fountain at night.

There are plenty of hotels in Rome and finding the right one might seem like an easy task. However, without the right homework, this can turn into a complete nightmare. The problem is not all areas of Rome are not exactly known for the perfect hospitality. The Termini is generally one of the most preferred locations among the tourists. However, it is not always the best choice. If you are not at all sure about which hotel to check in to, you may check out Berg Luxury Hotel. I particularly loved the luxurious and stylish interiors and the unique Roman exterior. The quality of service was also great.
Communication was not a problem as it was located at one of the most fashionable areas of Rome.

Rome, as well as Italy as a whole as well, is particularly known for the fine cuisines. If you have not checked out the fine restaurants and eateries of Rome, you have missed out the very essence of the city. There are numerous places where you will be able to find the finest and most mouth watering dishes in the city. Grab a bite at one of these places and you will not regret it one bit.

Do not line up before the Colosseum for hours before it will be open just to avoid the long queue. The queue is going to be long no doubt, especially since it is one of the most visited attractions of the city. However, ticket to the Colosseum is also available at Roman Forum as combo offer. The Roman Forum is much less crowded and you will not have to stand in the long queue to get an entry.

There are many more attractions in Rome which you will love to see. However, do not take a car or any other transport to check out the city. It is much better to enjoy Rome on foot.
