Piccadilly Market – A Look

Piccadilly market is a vivacious and appealing market sited in the heart of London, devoted to sell diverse and distinctive array of foods, arts, crafts, antiques, collectables and the list goes on. It is a small market but crammed with fascinating goodies from around the world and traders appear reasonable and genuine and easy to deal with and items available are good in quality and also appropriately priced.

Positioned in the square of the stunning St James’s Church, the market is vertical in its own special way. This market is a chameleon, changing the themes daily; one day it wears the stripes of crafts, the other the polka dots of antiques. .  The market has a lot of jewelry stalls.

The Arts and Crafts souk was first held at St James’s in 1981 as an element of the Piccadilly Arts Festival. The market opened enduringly during 1984, during the foundation period it operated for two days a week, but now as the market has developed, it operates six days a week.

Food market operates only on Mondays during 11am-5pm, Antiques and collectable market operates on Wednesday to Saturday during 10am–6pm and Arts and Crafts Market on Wednesday to Saturday, 10am-6pm.
