London Parks – A Must Visit on Every Trip

When people are planning to pay a visit to London, they are often told by the people they have in their social circles, of some of the places in London which are to be visited in order to have a trip that is great and to create some memories which would last a very long time and would be cherished.

However, what is often overlooked, in fact, overlooked in almost all cases, is the fact that the parks of the city are great and surely warrant a visit just as much as the sights of the city do.

Another fact that works in favour of the parks of London is the fact that it is generally felt by people that among the hustle and bustle of a city, a visit to the park is great for them to achieve some sense of inner calm,

In order to make a visit to London worthwhile, it is of the highest importance that, apart from the schedule, the choice of the hotel a visitor is to stay at is also good as if this does not happen to be the case, it can be said that he or she would be severely comprising on the quality of his or her stay not only at the hotel, but also in London, as a result of the same.

That being said, it is to be kept in mind that find a hotel which proves to be suitable need not necessarily result in the visitor shelling out an inordinate amount, or an amount more than he or she considers to be fit for the purpose of a hotel room. As a matter of fact, there are quite a few London Budget Hotels in London  which can be looked at as potential options. To make apt use of an example of the same, Shaftesbury Suites London Marble Arch is just one hotel which is said to be a very popular one with people who are looking to make great trips to the city without having to break the bank, by any measure.

Hyde Park is a park which goes well beyond the definition of what a person would normal expect a park to be. As a matter of fact, it is a great place not only to walk around but also to go to ride some beautiful horses or even to go boating. There are more than four thousand trees located in the park. The rose gardens can be said to be sufficient reason alone for paying a visit to the park, as they are just so beautiful. Also, it is to be kept in mind that going walking or running around the park is not the only way to discover it. There are other options, such as going cycling, skating or even skateboarding.

When it comes to location, though most of the beautiful parks of London have great locational advantages, the one park which can be said to be located in a better location than its peers, at least on a relative basis, is none other than St. James Park. It is surrounded by no less than three royal palaces. This is something which makes paying a visit to the park something that would be considered worthwhile if a person is going to visit the royal palaces in London. However, the downside of this is that once a person enters the park, he or she is very unlikely to wish to leave in a hurry. The park is also reasonably well known on account of the pelicans which reside here. At a half past two in the afternoon, they are fed. The 23 hectares of the park is an incredible amount of space.

A park which is not all that well known among people who have never had the experience of residing in London happens to be Victoria Park. This is a park which is also known by the name of ‘Vicky Park’. There are quite a few events which are held at this park and among them are Lovebox, which is a great festival that is held on an annual basis.

Greenwich Park is the park to visit to catch a look at some deer. The other benefit of visiting this park is the fact that the Prime Meridian runs right through it.

All in all, it can be said that the parks of the city are places to visit for a variety of reasons and also, that the visitor to the same will end up glad that he or she made the time from the busy schedule he or she had for the duration of the visit to the city, to make some time to visit a few parks which were worth every minute, to say the very least.
