Whatever you prefer, London is guaranteed to have it.

St Mary Magdalene

This church is seen as a landmark in Paddington and it is the perfect place for a traditional wedding. Its design is wonderfully unique and its dainty appearance looks a little out of place on the large stretch of land it is now on. It is seen as George Edmund Street’s work of art in the city and it prides itself on its beauty but also on its warm community spirit. This church is very much seen as the perfectly traditional community church and whether you are looking to plan a wedding here or are in need of some guidance, you will always receive a warm welcome.

St Mary Magdalene is not only a wonderfully traditional church but it is also famous having been used for countless television and film locations. It played a vital role in the 1949 “The Blue Lamp” and in “A Secret Ceremony” which starred world-renowned actresses Elizabeth Taylor and Mia Farrow. The interior of St Mary Magdalene’s was used for a memorial service in the film “The Constant Gardener” and its crypt has been made famous by the legendary television programmes “Poirot” and “Lewis.”
