Just imagine you are meeting the Father Christmas, what could be more magical than that? By Father Christmas, we mean the Santa Claus. London hosts many events where the kids will have an opportunity to come across Father Christmas and collect small gifts. Below is the list of few of the events, where you can meet Father Christmas personally and make your Christmas more Merry.
Christmas at Kew Gardens
Come and get pleasured from the cheerful spell at Kew Gardens and enjoy the late night retail shopping extravaganza for eager shoppers and enjoy the Christmas delicacies.
The prime attractions of the celebrations include the Santa’s cave which opens from 8 December to 23 December in the Princess of Wales Conservatory. The children can enjoy a carousel ride on Kew Palace lawn during 10 Dec, 2012 to 2 Jan, 2013.
Opening hours: 9.30 am – 4.15 pm (Monday – Sunday)
Entry Fee: Adults £13.90 and free for children under 17
The Duke of York Square Christmas Lights
The enchantment of the Christmas festival has been laid to twinkle in Chelsea on Saturday 10th November, with a cheerful festivity. The event commence from 3 pm with a lot of electrifying series of tricks for everyone to enjoy.
You can head towards the arts & crafts gazebo or land in Santa’s Christmas Grotto from 5.30pm to Father Christmas. There’ll be horse cart rides around Sloane Square, and if you are lucky you may see some real Reindeers.
Santa will meet the little ones to narrate stories and giving Christmas sweets to the visitor to his cozy workshop. One lucky child will have the prospect to craft the magic and turn on the Christmas lights that marvelously enlighten the square from 5.15pm and unbolt the mysterious cavern.
The event will run from 10th November (Saturday & Sunday) – 1st December (Wednesday – Sunday)
Santa’s Personalized Grotto Experience at Westfield London
Visitors when they enter Santa’s Grotto, experience the most amazing 5D visual which includes an animated story of Elbow the Elf along with amazing effects which has winds, lights, and elf dust. Each child who is into audience will feature in the film and help the Elf through his journey to save Santa’s presents from the villain Elf.
It is advised to book tickets in advance; children under 16 must be escorted by an adult and please turn up 10 minutes prior to the session. This event will run from 22 Nov – 24 Dec.
